Componential Analysis of Ana/Mat'/Mother Words: Mother Prototype Extension

The research is aimed at identifying the specifics of ana (mother -Kazakh)/mat’ (mother-Russian)/mother semantic broadening in Kazakh, Russian and English languages. componential analysis method lexicalized word definitions used to do this. It has been revealed that they present a prototype mother markers, as well “woman”, “giving birth”, “raising”, “single-generation” distinguishers, which produce intention meaning. important emphasize “mother” associated with changes world around us, development health reproduction technologies, change social values. Implicational meanings arise due variation “having”, “kinship” intentional functional relational semes, e.g. surrogate mother, birthmother, genetic etc. This leads mother’s ideal prototypical image “blurring” minds native speakers.
